We visited for dinner on a Friday evening and it was very busy, so much so that we chose to sit outside (in Winter) but at least there was less noise. Their menu is extensive and varied. The food was great - a little more expensive than some places but worth it. Service was brisk and efficient even though the restaurant was busy. They are also open for lunch so we may explore that option in the future as we live nearby. As mains we chose BBQ Octopus, Stir Fry Ginger Chicken & Stir Fry Cashew Beef (see photo of each dish).

Love this place - as close to authentic as we've found in Brisbane. Excellent food, great people and great value for money!

Best Thai around by far. The restaurant is not fancy and a perhaps a little tired but your not eating the chairs so who cares. Very friendly staff.

Thai Country came highly recommended by a friend as the best Thai on the southside. We decided to try one Sunday night for dinner in fairly large group of 10. It was delicious! Everything was amazing especially the green curries. Some curries were a little bit spicy, even though we specifically asked for mild (we had children at the table). The coconut drinks were awesome and so was the coconut rice. This is the best coconut rice I have had in a Thai restaurant. Authentic Thai restaurant, this one is on the top of my list. High chairs available, there is seating inside or out. The toilet is a little inconvenient to get to, it is the at the back of the complex. Not many car parks available onsite, however there is plenty of free street parking.

I had driven past Thai country a number of times, as I normally buy Tarragindi Thai. This night I thought "Why not try something new?"SERVICEPrompt and friendlyFood was completed in 10 minutesCOSTThai is never cheap, they were the priced as any Thai restaurant.FOODMusaman ChickenIt had all the right flavours with chicken and potatoes. There was more sauce then meat and veges. I prefer Tarragindi Thai's.Drunken ChickenVery nice Pad Thai Chicken Deliciously spicy with yummy noodlesCoconut RiceAll three large containers disappeared quicklyDeliciousOPINION OVERALLNice restaurantFamily friendly feel with toys provided inside. Seating inside and out.LicencedThe food was nice and a average price, but this local will stick in future with Tarragindi Thai.

VERY disappointing experience. Was seated in a table below a blowing A/C & next to a leaking window. Entrees arrived early but so did the main for my partner which caused the main dish to get cold before the entree was finished. The main dish was supposed to be salmon with Asian salad but it was a smallish piece of salmon with ice berg lettuce and carrot...no trace of the Asian salad to be seen on the plate. My partner had finished the main dish before my main dish even arrived... We gave negative feedback to the waitress but she only said "sorry" and no further apologies / correspondence from the staff was received. One of the staff members was also working around the restaurant carrying her sleeping young child on her arm at the same time...not very professional. Paid the bill and walked out. No need to go back to this restaurant ever again!

Decided to have a meal here from recommendations from friends.I have travelled to Thailand on many occasions so expected something good. Ordered the coconut prawns for entree and salmon with Asian style salad. The waitress even asked if I would like rice with this. Which tells me they don't know or understand there menu. The coconut prawns were good and the sauce provided was ok but lacked the sense of Thai flavours of chillie, fish sauce etc.As for the salmon with Asian style salad, well that came out while I was still eating (or more to the point), just started eating my prawns. The dish was poorly presented and the salad ( what a load of crap). If one calls an Asian salad, iceberg lettuce and bamboo shoots with a couple of threads of carrots??? Please don't send me back to this place.I had finished my heal even before my partner had received her main....I made a complaint to the waitress so be replied by sorry sorry and sorry. No manager even appraised me before leaving or even when I paid the bill.Just saying there are better Thai restaurants out there.

We go here regularly for dinner as we live nearby. The owners are very friendly and approachable. They serve good authentic Thai food at reasonable prices. The restaurant itself is modestly decorated but does not detract from the overall pleasant experience we have had thus far. Would definitely recommend it.
