I always recommend Curryville as the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The food is always delicious. Sadly this weekend we were extremely disappointed in their service. We booked for Saturday night for six people. Four had never been here before so navigating the...menu took time. Staff constantly came to the table to remind us to order at the counter. Before COVID we always had great service. We felt very rushed. We ordered about We ordered some samosas and bhaji to share as starters then five dishes and Naans for our main meals. No sooner had they delivered our starters which we were still putting into our plates, they were putting our mains on the table along with our Naan breads. These sat and waited until we’d finished our starters. The breads were cold by the time we started to eat our mains. The food was still delicious just not as hot as usual. At staff came to the table to say they were closing in mins. We assumed this meant the kitchen was closing which wasn’t a problem. But they came to the table and asked us to leave now! We still had wine in our glasses! We were asked to go. Their website says they close at The sign in the window says open till late Friday and Saturday nights. We asked why the hurry and they said “New management” So sad as dinning is not just about eating food but enjoying the whole experience. I guess they don’t understand the meaning of the word late. We left and drove mins to an Italian restaurant nearby which was full of patrons. They gladly showed us to a table for coffee and desserts. We spent another at that restaurant where we leisurely enjoyed great service and another enjoyable hour of good food and coffee. Maybe it will be takeaway in future so we can enjoy food in a relaxed manner but as we live about mins from the restaurant it doesn’t make take away easy for us

We ordered takeaway and when I opened the bad I could see oil overflowing from the containers. The portions were generous but we had to pour a large layer of oil from the top of each container. The quantity of oil was really off putting....I had the barramundi fillet and my first mouthful contained bones. The lamb Rogan josh didn’t even have the barest degree of heat. The naan was nice. The vegetable samosas were mediocre. They kindly provided rice, even though we hadn’t ordered it, but again it was rather oily. I’m afraid it was a real disappointment for us. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day

I always recommend Curryville as the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The food is always delicious. Sadly this weekend we were extremely disappointed in their service. We booked for 7pm Saturday night for six people. Four had never been here before so navigating the...menu took time. Staff constantly came to the table to remind us to order at the counter. Seriously guys the naan is the same size as my hand... and I have small hands. Now that I've gone through the reviews it makes sense that your naan is not made fresh, shame because the price you make them to be it bloody should be. Curries are average at best. There are so many Indian restaurants around for competition if you guys don't pick up your act you won't be open much longer.

The Food: Lovely Indian food, great spice and heat with generous portion sizes. The menu has great variety and has different selctions for the most fussy eater. My only criticism with the food was the naan bread, although large in size I felt it missed the mark with texture and flavor. The Restaurant: We sat down at the restaurant at 18:45, it was extremely busy and it took the server/kitchen hand 15 mins to bring us wine glasses and a ice bucket. The ambiance in the actual restaurant is not great and this was evident by the amount of takeaway orders that were being collected (there was a line out the door to pick up takeaway). This is a takeout style restaurant who would do most of their trade this way. There were no tables available that would seat more than 4 people, we sat outside next to a bust stop and footpath which in itself doesn't create a warm inviting environment. Summary :Will be getting takeout next time, the curries were faultless and tasted amazing, my partner had the butter chicken and I had the chicken tika masala extra hot.
